The retro look is a big component of this painting. Little does he know of the intense interplay of emotions taking place between the two rivals for his affection.

- Yzabelle Milton
- Yzabelle was born and grew up in Montreal, studying art in various school programs. She started her career as a fashion designer after graduation from the Cotnoir Cappone School of Fashion Design. Yzabelle has studied with various B.C. and U.S. instructors, is a graduate of the Alan Edwards School of Fine Art and was elected AFCA with the Federation of Canadian Artists in March 1995. Four years were spent as the coordinator of volunteers at the Federation gallery on Granville Island. She was a board member at the Surrey Art Center from 1993 – 1995 and taught sketching, and painting for Surrey Parks and Recreation for 5 years before coming to the Sunshine Coast. Moving to Sechelt in 1989, she spent 4 years instructing art for the Sunshine Coast Regional District before opening her own studio where she teaches a variety of classes. Her work has been shown in many galleries around British Columbia. In the process of creating art she loves to explore and experiment with all water based mediums, building colour and texture, allowing the image to make itself known, always shifting from chaos to order as the painting evolves.
